Shinah Riley holds BM & MM Piano Performance degrees from the Eastman School of Music where she was a student of renowned Russian pedagogue Natalya Antonova. She also studied at IU Bloomington with legendary pianist Menahem Pressler.  

A former finalist of the Elizabeth Harper Vaughn Concerto Competition in Kingsport TN, Mrs. Riley also studied at the Academie Internationale Moulin D’Ande (France). Originally from South Korea, she studied in Los Angeles with He-Lyun Chung and as a Graduate Assistant at Eastman regularly played in the studios of Steve Doane, Paul Katz, Dale Moore, Oleh Krysa, Carol Webber, Peter Salaff, & Verne Reynolds, among others.
